OSWEGO, NY – Competitors taking part in the brand new Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series will now have some added incentive to pick up heat race wins in the series’ first two events this coming week.

Cam’s New York Pizzeria will present coupons for a free large cheese pizza to all series heat winners at either the Evans Mills Speedway event this Sunday, June 18 or the Spencer Speedway show next weekend, Friday, June 23.

“We want to extend a big thank you to Anthony Master and Cam’s New York Pizzeria for coming onboard to hook us up with the coupons,” said series coordinator Mike Bruce. “It’s always a huge help when you have sponsors like Cam’s jump right on board with you while we are working hard to begin a new endeavor for the SBS class. Things like this will help the series and the excitement surrounding it grow and it’s nice to already have a sponsor in place for all of our heat race winners.”

Cam’s New York Pizzeria, fittingly named and famous for it’s New York Style crust, has locations in Oswego, Camillus, Syracuse, Geneva, Rochester, Baldwinsville, Ontario, Pennfield, Penn Yann, Phoenix, and Watertown. Gates open at 2:30pm this Sunday at the Evans Mills Speedway for the inaugural Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series event presented by Route 37 Building Supply and Bruce Construction with grandstand gates opening at 3:30pm for the start of practice. Several Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank SBS regulars are expected to be in action. Racing will begin at 5pm. General admission tickets are just $10 and can be purchased at the track. OSWEGO, NY – Just weeks after revealing that the inaugural Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series event at the Evans Mills Speedway set for Sunday, June 18th would pay $1,000 to the winner, the series is now set to announce the very same news for the June 23 event at Spencer Speedway in Williamson.

An incentive made possible by event sponsors Bruce Construction and Route 37 Building Supply with further backing from the Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series Fundraiser which took place at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego on May 19, each of the first two scheduled series events will now pay $1,000 to the winner.

“After a successful fundraiser, on behalf of Mike Bruce, I am very excited to announce that each of our scheduled Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series events will now pay $1,000 to the winner,” said series promoter Camden Proud. “It is vital that we come out with a bang and get this series started off on the right foot. Mike (Bruce) is doing everything he can to ensure that happens by stepping up himself and providing extra purse money for all drivers that chose to compete on either of our first two dates. We look forward to getting things started at Evans Mills on June 18 before heading to Spencer just a few days later.”
